Highlights of our 2022 Season!

WHAT A YEAR!

THANK YOU to all of you who have visited Pennywell over the 2022 season!

We’ve absolutely loved welcoming so many of you to the farm…It’s a privilege to play a small part in creating memories for our visitors and seeing the happiness that brings so many families.

We wanted to look back at the highlights from the 2022 season and drop some hints about what’s to come next year!

🌱 Spring 2022 🌱

February Half Term was a hit! It’s our favourite time of year when we get to welcome YOU, our Pennywell Farmers back after winter.

The animals could not believe their luck with so many lovely people to cuddle, stroke and hand-feed them!

Spring is a great time of year at the farm with all the new animals being born! We were super excited to welcome new piglets, lambs and goat kids during 2022 and in Spring 2023 we are looking forward to welcoming even more animals!

Our newborn animals even made it to the TV with features from ITV News and This Morning just two weeks apart!

Dr Scott was very taken with this sweet little Pennywell Miniature Piglet. We can’t wait to welcome you back in February for your very own Piggy Cuddles!

Looking forward to us re-opening in 2023? Our first day of the season is the 11th of February.

πŸ‡ Easter 2022 πŸ‡

This year saw the launch of our very first Easter Egg-Stravaganza event!

We were very lucky to host the Easter Bunny’s holiday home location so she could take a break at Pennywell between Easter prep and egg deliveries! Although she was a very busy bunny, and we didn’t see much of her, she allowed our Pennywell Farmers to have lots of fun on a trail around the farm leading to her holiday house.

We got to celebrate the true meaning of Easter and enjoyed lots of new life. There were lots of competitions and games around the farm to join in with – they were so much fun!

The Easter Egg-Stravaganza will be returning to Pennywell in 2023, even bigger and better!

Merlin the Real Unicorn looked absolutely stunning and loved greeting all our visitors. The Magical Unicorn Racing was a hilarious addition to our activity timetable and our team loved getting involved too!

There was something for everyone with a host of competitions to get involved with and lots of additional Unicorn Magic on top of all our famous farmyard fun.

We’ve just had news that Unicorns will be flying into Pennywell again soon so click the link below and sign up to be the first to know when Magical Unicorn Week is back! πŸ‘‡

🍾 Piggies & Prosecco 2022 🍾

Our Piggies & Prosecco Experiences were AMAZING!

These are perfect events for grown-up Pennywell Farmers to enjoy the quieter side of the farm in the peace of the evening. Visitors enjoyed some very special evenings with us, we even had a proposal – and she said yes!

Our events team cannot wait to get these back up and running next summer. Sign up below to find out more about our 2023 Piggy and Prosecco events! πŸ‘‡

🌞 Summer 2022 🌞

Pennywell always has a certain buzz to it during Summer, and we can definitely say that this year!

The ponds and hedgerows were teeming with life, we saw the birth of more babies including some beautiful Red Deer Calves and the animals were treated to some delicious ice lollies during the wonderful hot weather we all enjoyed!

We were very honoured to welcome so many lovely families who were holidaying in Devon, as well as lots of local visitors too. We’re passionate about providing an outstanding day out and helping you make amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
