From pig racing to bottle feeding, pony pampering to goat walking, every day is packed with a new hands-on activity every 30 minutes! One of Pennywell's most popular activities is cuddles with the world famous Pennywell Miniature Pigs. We also have the fluffiest rabbits, sweetest Guinea Pigs, and tiniest Mice ready to meet you! For the welfare and comfort of our animals, we ask that you use a blanket for pet and piggy cuddles. You are welcome to bring your own blanket/small towel, or our pet blankets are available to purchase in the Pennywell shop for £3.50.

Yes, all visitors must book in advance online. We carefully limit the number of guests each day to ensure a calm and enjoyable experience for both our animals and our visitors. This helps keep queues short, spaces peaceful, and activities running smoothly. Once booked, simply bring your e-ticket on your phone (no need to print) and head straight to the entrance when you arrive. Booking in advance also guarantees your spot on busy days, especially weekends and holidays.
Your day ticket gives you full access to everything that makes a visit to Pennywell Farm magical. No need to print your tickets. Simply show the QR code on your phone when you arrive our team will scan it at the entrance. It’s faster, easier, and more environmentally friendly. If you’re booking for friends or family, you can forward their tickets to them digitally too. Just make sure your screen brightness is up and the QR code is clearly visible to keep things moving smoothly at check-in.

Our Wet-Weather Guarantee means that if it rains continuously for more than 30 minutes during your visit, you’ll receive a FREE return ticket, valid for any day within the next 7 days. We want your Pennywell experience to be full of fun, not soggy socks. Simply visit the shop before you leave to claim your return ticket. We also have plenty of indoor activities, undercover animal areas, and cosy spaces to keep the fun going rain or shine.
Absolutely, cuddling the animals is one of the best parts of a visit to Pennywell! Our Pet & Piggy Cuddle Corner is open throughout the day (with a short lunchtime break) and gives you the chance to get up close with our famous miniature pigs, fluffy rabbits, guinea pigs, and more.
To make the experience safe and cosy for both you and the animals, we ask that you use a pet cuddle blanket, which can be purchased for £3.50 from the gift shop. You’re welcome to keep it as a souvenir of your day. Animal cuddles are unlimited, so feel free to pop back as many times as you like during your visit, it’s a firm favourite for guests of all ages.
Yes, we aim to make Pennywell Farm as accessible and welcoming as possible for all our visitors. Most of our main barn areas and activity zones are step-free and suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and pushchairs. Paths leading to the lower paddocks are made of compacted gravel, which most wheelchairs can navigate, though assistance may be helpful on steeper areas.
We also provide accessible toilet facilities, and there are dedicated accessible parking spaces located close to the main entrance for ease of access. Yes, there are plenty of tasty options to keep you fuelled during your visit! Our Coffee Cabin is open every day, serving barista-made coffee, freshly baked cakes, Devon pasties, and light bites throughout the day.

Yes, all Season Ticket holders must book in advance before visiting. Simply choose the free ‘Season Ticket Holder’ ticket option for each valid passholder during checkout. If you're bringing any children under 3, be sure to add a free under-3s ticket for them too.
On the day, just show your Season Ticket card along with your booking confirmation when you arrive. This helps us manage visitor numbers and ensure a relaxed, enjoyable experience for everyone on the farm — including the animals.
We recommend arriving as close to 9am as possible to make the most of your day. The farm opens at 10am and activities begin straight away, with a new experience every 30 minutes.
You’re welcome to stay for the entire day! The farm is open from 9am until 4pm, and your ticket gives you unlimited access during those hours.
Yes, but children under 3 years old go free. Just make sure to select the correct free ticket for each under-3 when booking so we can account for them in our visitor numbers.
Yes! If plans change, you can book new tickets for your preferred date, then email us with both order numbers. We’ll refund the original booking (excluding the booking fee).
Absolutely! We have plenty of picnic areas, both outdoors and under cover. You’re very welcome to bring your own food and enjoy a relaxed lunch in the beautiful surroundings.
Yes, we cap daily numbers to make sure everyone has plenty of space to relax, enjoy the activities, and meet the animals. Booking early, especially for weekends and holidays, is strongly advised.

We all loved it! The staff are incredible, so informative and friendly! Lots to do and a brilliant schedule throughout the day. Holding the baby pigs, goats, guinea pigs and mice was amazing, the children loved it. Lots of fab play areas and rides. Thank you for a brilliant time!

A lovely family day out. My granddaughter really enjoyed seeing all the animals. So much to see and do! We enjoyed feeding the goats and all the animals seemed happy in their surroundings. The deer were beautiful too.

A brilliant day out for all the family, from 18 month olds to 85 years old the whole family will enjoy, a jam packed full day of talks, shows and activities as well as petting area and goat bottle feeding to name a few full list in pictures below. Brilliant family run business that seems to be constantly reinvesting in its growth. Great indoor picnic area with big bouncy castles to keep the kids busy while you eat in peace.
Had such a brilliant day at Penny well farm, so much to do for all ages, the pig racing was brilliant and seeing how much fun the pigs had was fab. Seeing all the animals and the views were awesome, thank you for such an amazing day out

Brilliant farm. It was recommended to us by a few friends and it did not disappoint. All of the staff were really friendly and you can tell that all of the animals are loved and well cared for. Lots of activities on all day. Good facilities. Can’t wait to go back.
