It’s all treats and no tricks this October Half Term! Deliberately choosing to ignore Octobers darkest day, the team here are preparing for the Pennywell Pumpkin Olympics. At Pennywell – Devon Tourist Attraction.
If you’re looking for something completely different you can take part in the pumpkin and giant spoon race, pumpkin tossing, pumpkin skittles and have a go at the daily competition for the longest pumpkin throw. There’s a giant bar of chocolate waiting for the daily winner and if that isn’t enough there is a chocolate treat for everyone who manages to find all the answers to our pumpkin quiz with clues all around the farm.
Every child will be given a pumpkin and the great news for mum and dad is that you can carve your happy pumpkin face here and avoid all the mess at home.
All the Pennywell animals will be waiting for their last cuddle of the season and the world famous Pennywell miniature piglets will be looking forward to piggy cuddles every day – guaranteed to bring a smile to any face.
There are four farm rides, a new activity show or display every half hour and additional entertainment from Nutty Nah and Dan the Hat.
The great news is that it is all included in the admission price.
