A Summer of Pennywell Farmyard Fun

Pennywell has an amazing six weeks of action lined up for the summer holidays so there is no excuse for boredom! A full day of half hourly activities, shows, displays and entertainers, hundreds of friendly animals to meet and four farm rides are all included in one admission price.

Arrive at 10am if you can, meet your activity farmer for the day, take a pic of the activity board and make the most of a whole day of action packed animal fun.

Pond dipping, miniature pig racing, goat milking, ferret racing  . . .  the list is endless. You can even take a goat for a walk or try out some pig agility! We have a huge variety of friendly farm animals, from the mighty to the miniature, for you to get acquainted with and a different hands on animal activity every half hour.

Miniature ponies, goats, highland cattle, alpacas, deer, ferrets, poultry hedgehogs, tortoises and a whole host of Pennywell pets are waiting to meet you.  Our new family of adorable miniature donkeys are settling in well after their arrival from France, They’re even picking up a bit of the Devonshire lingo and they are certainly partial to a Devon ice cream.

Pennywell is home to the world famous Pennywell miniature pigs and is the only place where you can enjoy genuine Pennywell piggy cuddles. If that isn’t enough, every day at 2.30pm you can enjoy the phenomenon that is Miniature Pig Racing and enjoy cheering on your favourite pint-sized porker.

If you need to escape the sun, there’s acres of indoor space to picnic and play as well as a commando course, maze, tractor village and toddlers play farm. Four farm rides and crazy golf are also included in the admission price.
