Come and meet the new arrivals at Pennywell

New arrivals! The farm is absolutely buzzing at the moment with new arrivals. If cute and cuddly is your thing, we have plenty of early spring babies to meet.

The lambs arrived a few weeks ago and are in the barn ready for bottle feeding twice a day, every day. You can hear them wherever you are on the farm about half an hour before their feed is due, letting you know that it’s getting close to their dinner time.

New litters of the world famous Pennywell miniature piglets are in the cosy piggy cuddles barn, ready to meet the visitors. Piggy cuddles are guaranteed, so you can grab a blanket, snuggle up and enjoy a really unique experience. Some of the older ‘toddler’ piglets are great fun to watch as they run around and play and then crash out, just like human toddlers.

We also have some adorable ducklings in the pets area and in the last few days we have some baby guinea pigs to see. Baby rabbits are also expected to be among the new arrivals in the not too distant future.

In the animal barn we have our latest addition Valentino, our gorgeous goat kid who arrived on Valentines day.

Fern the donkey is expecting her foal in the next few weeks so you never know, you may manage to visit on arrival day!

All this plus hundreds of friendly farm animals to meet and a full day of hands on activities, shows and rides!

The farm is now open every day from 10 to 5pm.  If you buy tickets online, there is a FREE Pennywell Pal soft toy with every online child ticket.  Just bring your child tickets along on the day to claim your toy.

Don’t worry if you plan to visit without children, There is plenty for our adult visitors to do and you certainly won’t be alone.
