Looking for an enchanting experience?
Join us from Saturday 4th May to Sunday 2nd June for a spectacular, Unicorn-themed event at Pennywell Farm.
In addition to all your favourite animals, activities, shows, and displays, we’ll be offering a host of special Unicorn-themed experiences to help unleash your inner unicorn.
Meet Merlin, our resident unicorn for the week, take part in Unicorn Hobby Horse racing, and discover fascinating unicorn facts and figures on our Unicorn Farm Trail.
But that’s not all. With hands-on activities every 30 minutes you’re in for a full day of fun!
Bottle-feed our baby goat kids, cheer on our racing ferrets, hand-feed animals from the cheeky goats of Goatarama to our beautiful herd of Red Deer, and even take a naughty goat for a walk!
Of course, no visit to Pennywell Farm would be complete without experiencing our famous pig racing, held every day at 12:30 pm. This truly unique event is fantastic fun for all the family so come and cheer on your favourite porker in this Snout to Snout race!
And with plenty of piglets and pets to cuddle, there’s no shortage of furry friends to make your visit truly unforgettable.
In addition to spending time with all the wonderful Pennywell animals, you’ll be treated to a variety of live entertainment every weekend day, and every day during May Half Term, featuring performances by Matt Pang, Mr. Phil, Elfic the Jester, and Spangles the Clown.

Jump on 3 FREE rides available throughout the day along with play areas, assault courses, mazes, and more on every corner.

Hi I’m thinking of coming down for the day Wednesday 1st June. Do you offer a vip day or help put the animals to bed once the general public have left the farm. If you could I offer my daughter services to help. I more than to pay for the experience. Many thanks Tony Miessner

Hi Lee, The unicorn event is included in the normal ticket price. We look forward to seeing you on the farm for some magical unicorn fun!
Hi,
I’ve booked my daughter and me tickets for Sun 28th. It says 9am to 4pm. Is this a tour guide event or can we show up anytime during those hours? We live 1.5 hrs away so would have to leave at 7am ish which isn’t practical with a 15 month old.
I also saw on the timetable that there is no lunch break incl. (if this is a tour guide event)
Hi Abbey, The farm is open from 9am – 4pm for our visitors to arrive and leave between these times. We have different activities that run every 30 mins for our visitors to join in with if they want to. But there’s also lots to do on the farm at your own leisure as well. We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
Do you do a free return ticket ?
Hi Sharon, We do have some offers out in holiday parks and accommendation providers that have a free return ticket. It’s also good to sign up to our website and social media platforms as we sometimes put out different offers throughout the season.
We are travelling from Dorset on Friday 2nd June, what is the last entry time for the day please?
We would love to see you. We are open from 9am – 4pm, we do not have a last entry time but we do want you to experience everything that we have on offer. On average visitors spend 4 hours with us.
Do you have ponies and Are you offering pony rides over half term?
Hi Sarah, We do not offer pony rides here at Pennywell, but we do have our Miniature Pony Paddock that you can walk through and meet our adorable ponies. We do offer Pony pampering as one of our free activities that you can join in with as well. Hope to see you soon.
