Treat your family to Devon's friendliest day out at our multi award winning Activity Farm . . .  the biggest in the South West! There's so much to see and do for the whole family. 

With a different animal activity, show or display every half hour, friendly animals and four FREE rides, you won’t waste a single minute. 

Bottle feed hungry lambs and goat kids, race the ferrets, meet the hedgehogs, explore the ponds and enjoy fantastic entertainers every weekend and throughout the Devon school holidays. 

We have over 150 friendly animals to meets from Guinea pigs and rabbits in the pets area to alpaca, ponies and Shire horses. We also have piglets, goat kids and cute calves. 

Cuddle a world famous Pennywell Miniature piglet and enjoy meeting them in their cosy barn where you can also find out about their amazing story from farmyard to international fame! 

There’s nothing quite like the phenomenon that is Pennywell Pig Racing, with our miniature piglets showing what they lack in size they make up for in speed and determination. Racing begins in the Showfield every day at 12.30pm. 

Say,’ Hello, Hallo, Merhaba or Bonjour’ to our international poultry collection in the Funky Fowl area. It's also where egg collecting takes place every morning. (Currently no poultry on the farm due to Avian Flu). 

Groom and pamper our pint sized ponies in their Miniature Pony Centre and meet our family of adorable Miniature donkeys.

Pennywell has plenty of indoor space to picnic and play and as we want you to enjoy everything that Pennywell has to offer, inside and out, if it rains for more than 30 minutes during your visit we will give you a ticket for a FREE return visit.
