On Saturday, it’s time to find your inner animal when we welcome back Poco Drom to sing about all things wild and wonderful. You won’t be able to help but join in as he brings his own selection of animal songs for children and their adults. Oh, and he has ears and a tail of course!

On Sunday and Monday there is a real treat in store from one of the UK’s most sought after falconry display teams. Hawkeye Falconry UK are travelling down to Devon from the Midlands to spend two days at Pennywell.

Alistair and his team with their dedication and passion bring the ancient art of falconry to the modern age. Their bird of prey displays have been described as “A once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed!” and also “Spell-binding”. The displays concentrate on the natural behaviours of the birds, whilst giving everybody, of all ages, a close encounter with the sport of falconry. PDP_7854

In addition to the flying displays at 1pm and 3pm on both days, a static display will be here all day where you can the birds close up and chat to the team. It’s perfect for photo opportunities.

All our famous half hourly activities like bottle feeding, egg collecting, ferret racing and goat milking are here for you to enjoy and no visit to Pennywell would be complete without a spot of miniature pig racing, every afternoon at 2.30pm. DUG_1031
